La despedida

Tonight was an emotional night. The students were amazing and all did their very best to make the show a success. Towards the end, they all gave a white rose to their host mothers and I am not going to lie, I broke down in tears along with several others. This has been an experience they will never forget. On behalf of the instructors, thank you for raising such wonderful young men and women. This has been an amazing summer and we couldn't have done this trip without you!

Tulum

This was the next and final stop on our excursion. Tulum was breath-taking and the view of the ocean was incredible. All of the students were in awe of this place.

Quite a few of the students even decided to go snorkeling in the coral reef, where we saw sea turtles right below us! We ended our excursion watching the final game of the World Cup at a restaurant that overlooked a cenote. Such a great time!

Punta Laguna

 Punta Laguna was the first place we visited this weekend on our excursion. We stopped here for a few hours to explore the jungle and see the animals in their natural habitat. We were able to see and HEAR the howler monkeys on the trail. At the end, we got to take a quick dip in the water before heading to Tulum!
