Vamos a la Playa Progreso!

Today we went to the beach, Progreso. It has been a great way to celebrate the end of our first week! It's great to see everyone forming friendships and using their Spanish to make plans with each other and having great conversations with their host families! Here are some pictures from today! :)

Bus Tour of Mérida

Today was our first excursion! We went on a bus tour of Mérida. We even got to see a Cenote and some beautiful monuments! Hope you enjoy the pictures! 

We almost had the entire group. Lola and Cheyney were still taking pictures of the Cenote!

First day of classes and scavenger hunt!

First day of school! Classes have finally started! Last night we went on a scavenger hunt downtown and they had to take pictures of different things on their lists...a Cathedral, several different kinds of stores, museums, etc.

             Above, is right outside our school! Who wouldn't want to come here?! Makes coming to school a little bit easier!!!

The fun begins!

Orientation today! We will review the Honor Code with the host families and students! Wednesday we begin classes. Here are a few pictures from our adventures on the way here! Don't worry if your child isn't on here yet! This is just getting started!:)
