Chichén Itzá

Today we spent a wonderful day at two places. Chichén Itzá was first! It was so overwhelming to see all of the Mayan ruins. We loved our tour guide. He spoke Mayan and Spanish! It was a hot day, but we were able to buy lots of handicrafts from the people that were selling them around the ruins. Many of the students even bargained for a cheaper price! Well done!
Using flowers to "paint" the wooden handicrafts. Here is what the finished product looks like!

Next stop...Izamal for more pyramids!!!!
